At O LOBO, we care deeply about the things we bring into our homes and just as deeply about where those things come from.
With rising conversations around global trade and tariffs, it’s easy to focus only on where something is made. But we believe the real question is how it’s made and who benefits from its creation.
We work with vendors and brands who choose ethics over shortcuts, whether that means crafting pet beds in Oregon (like The Houndry), partnering with women-led artisan co-ops in Bangladesh (like Korissa), or repurposing waste into durable, beautiful bags made in Cambodia (like Torrain).
Some of our products are proudly made in the US. Others are made in small villages, family-run workshops, or fair-wage factories abroad. In all cases, our partners share a commitment to:
- Responsible sourcing
- Fair labor practices
- Sustainable materials and methods
- Thoughtful design that lasts
Manufacturing locally can be challenging and so can doing it right overseas. But the brands we carry are finding creative, intentional ways to put people and planet first, no matter where they’re based.
So whether it’s a handwoven basket or a recycled bag, a minimalist dog bed or a natural linen apron, we stand behind the how as much as the what.
Thanks for supporting makers who make better choices.
